So long as you have the right adons you should be able to do this. Check under "Office" rather than under "Office/2003 Add-ins"... that's where you can create an InfoPath form template using VS05 and IP07.... don't recall if its the same for IP03.

Re: Adding c# code to Form

Mike, unfortunately, I think you're out of luck here: you cannot develop with VS2005 and IP2003. Here is a post which has more details on this problem: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/5661/21207.aspx#21207

Re: Adding c# code to Form

Greg, could you (or anyone else) help me find the IP03 C# project? I could swear I've got VSTO & VSTO SE installed in VS2005 Team Edition, but the only IP-related option I have is under Visual C# > Office > 2007 Add-ins. [Yes, the Visual C# > Office > 2003 Add-ins menu is also available, but it only contains Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook & Visio).

If so, Launch Visual Studio, create a new C# InfoPath project from there, and have it import your existing form that you've already started. Then you will be able to write in C#. You have to start from Visual Studio to use managed code.

If you have IP07, then if everything is properly installed you should be able to write in C# anyway.

Adding c# code to Form

How do I add some C# code to a form that I am working on? When I go to the Tools->Programming section I only see the Microsoft Script editor.

But if I start a new form, I see the VSTA add-in that I enabled. How to I get the existing forms that I have written to recognize VSTA as an option? I haven't actually written any code in either tool yet, so there is no information to lose if I switch from one to the other.
