Depending on the hardware type certain questions apply. I would like to store the answers to these questions in seperate repeating data groups. There is a one to one respondence between a piece of hardware with a certain type and the questions. Does infopath have a way to automatically add a new "record" to the answer data group if a "record" is added to the hardware data group. Essentially I want to insert the hardware ID into the answer table for each new hardware "record". Cleary as mud right ... The easiest concept I can relate it to is a trigger in sql. I can setup a trigger on a table so that when I insert a record to the table a record is created in a different table as well. Thanks for your help!
