If you are trying to just retrieve data from the DB you can create a new data connection using Tools -> Data connections to the specific Access DB. To show this data in a repeating table format, drag drop the repeating table from the Controls task pane and then bind it to the secondary data connection just created.

If on the other hand you are trying to both retrieve and submit data, then you would have to create an InfoPath form which has the Access connection as the main Data connection. To do this please follow the steps below
1. In Design a Form task pane, click on New from Data connection
2. Create a data connection to the specific Access DB in the data connection wizard that comes up. In the last window of the data connection wizard you will be told if Submit is allowed or not to this specific table in the database.
3. This will create some default UI to be able to insert.
4. If submit is allowed based on text shown in the last window in the wizard - you will be able to enable submission of forms using Tools -> Submitting forms. This will allow you to update existing data in the database.

Hope this helps!

Access Links to Infopath

Hello,
This is my 3rd question now. I'd like to say thank you for the quick response to my first but I have a difficult question this time. I have link tables in my database (Access 2003), that pull information from my outlook inbox folders. It works brilliant. When I open infopath and try and put this information in with a form, it will not pick up a link table.
I have imported the inbox fully into access and this way it will pick it up for use in infopath. But this will then not update itself when new e-mails come in. I am asking if anyone knows a way that I can either use the linked tables within Infopath, or if anyone knows how I can set up a scheduled (twice daily) overwrite of the table if IMPORTED into access so that I can use the fields within Infopath. Unfortunately I can not use scheduled tasks on the computer as it is on a shared network. I can use an autoexec macro on the database, but I do not know how to do this if I want it to overwrite an existing table that is imported from an OUTLOOK folder. Also I would need it to do this overwrite without having prompts coming up all the time, just incase another user decides to open the database and the autoexec runs.

This is baffling me like mental
PLEASE Help
Keith Brittain
