Kind of embarrassed at the solution:

Create one global field where it is higher above the schema hierarchy. Use this one variable in the repeating section. It will state contains duplicate data it will still work).

The other solution is to just have a question at the top asking what color grass will all of them have.

I went with the latter.

Check All Fields in Repeating Sections

Let's say I have a field called Grass. This field is inside a repeating section called landscape.

In all the repeating sections, Grass must all be the same. If green in one, all the others must be green. If blue, all need to be blue.

1) Is there a way to write a rule that sets a fields value where it will modify all of its clones?

2) (More importantly) What will the expression be on a data validation where it will check all of its clones? Do I just use some type of global variable/field and have all the clones check this variable?

Current field:
../../my:Landscape/my:Grass
