The trick was that I had to share the folder I needed to get to as you mentioned.

Re: Connect to DB on another machine

First navigate to file on the other machine using Windows Explorer. "C:" is normally not a valid name when pointing to a folder on another computer. Normally it would be a share name. I normally use a name like "Drive C" when sharing "C:\". Once you can naviagate to it, then copy the address from Windows Explorer and use that.

Connect to DB on another machine

Hello,

I'd like to create a new infopath form from a data connection. The Access database I'd like to use resides on a different machine than the infopath form. I'm trying to use a path like this with no success:

\\pstpriitcd1\C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Opdicom\OpdiTracker\OpdiTracker.mdb

I get an error that says the path in not valid. How can I get this to work? Does anyone have experience connecting infopath forms to remote databases?

~jeff
