If you need to do multiple queries, create a rule with multiple actions. Good luck!

Re: Active Directory Searcher

Thanks Patrick but i have already written the web service to query AD
My problem is that i cant find out how to use it for multiple queries as required in my form

Re: Active Directory Searcher

Hi Horace and welcome to our forum!
We sell a Web service for $19.95 USD that does what you want. The user then clicks the person they are after in the datagrid to pass the data back to InfoPath and this is where i start bashing my head against walls because i just coulnd't figure it out (havent given up on the idea yet).

second i tried to use a secondary data connection in my form with a repeating table (as multiple usernames could be returned) and query to my web service. the user can do a search of AD and this works nicely.
The user should then be able to select one of the lines in the repeating table and populate the necessary fields in the form but i cant figure out how to pass the data from the relevant row in the repeating table into the matching fields in the rest of the form.

am i on the right track or should i tackle this in another way?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

Horace
