Custom editing the XSL is not usually the best practice, but it sounds like the only solution in this scenario.

If you extract the form files and search through the XSL for the view that you want to do this in, and then find the drop-down you can use a concat() function to show the two values in the Display Name. If you need some help doing this, it is kind of difficult to describe, but let me know.

Re: Display 2 columns in drop down

Hi
You cannot show two columns within same dropdown.

Display 2 columns in drop down

Hi,
I want to show two columns - unique number and name within the same drop down list.
On my list in SharePoint I have created a column which has "number, name" but when I go to create a datasource in infopath to this list, the column which is a calculated column ("number, name") is not listed as one I can select.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Clare
