Now the form works as desired. Great.

Now I have 2 questions:

1. Is there a way to supress those pop-ups to verify the e-mail address, etc. And those pop-ups when you transfer the data to the Database.

2. Is there a way to get the transfer button based on a rule to pop-up upon completion of the data transfer.

Thanks

Re: Create TWO Submit Buttons

Ptrudell,

Yes you can do this through the use of rules. Your issue of overriding the db submit when you change it to email submit is expected behavior on the part of InfoPath - that's how it's designed. But through the use of rules you can change this behavior to do exactly what you need to do.

Here is an excellent article that should help you get started on your way:

<a href='http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/assistance/HA012073751033.aspx' target='_blank' title='http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/assistance/HA012073751033.aspx'http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/assistance/HA012073751033.aspx

I hope that helps you to get started on this!

Create TWO Submit Buttons

I have a form based on an Access 2003 Database. The purpose of the form is for staff to send to our Ops Coordinator information via e-mail (that's one button). She inturn evaluates the data and either send it forward to another department or clicks a button to send data to the database. (Button two).

I am going nuts trying to create two buttons, each time I set up a button it's setting override the setting for the other button. I've been told to use rules to set this up.... but, I can not figure it out and have not documentation to help... Please if you can explain it to me like I'm a seven year old (okay maybe a little older).

I need one button to e-mail to the Ops Coord. and one button to send the data on the form to a table on our Database. easy..... well.

Thanks for any help.
