I mean - if you have selected today for the date, and 8 am for the time, then the time -9 hours would be the day before. Is your end goal to display just time? Or date time?

Re: Adding Zulu Time to infopath form

Hi. The second I add a time control to my form, the original formula stops working correctly (only subtracts two hours instead of nine) and when I do the same calc on the time field, same thing happens. Are you using this form in the browser or in InfoPath Filler? I'm wondering if it will behave better in the browser....

Re: Adding Zulu Time to infopath form

Good morning from Japan, Hilary. I am trying to make a form. The user should type in local time in one field and ZULU or GMC time will populate in a non editable field next to it. The local time is Japan standard time. +9. There is no daylight savings time. For example, if I type in 0900, the Zulu Time field will be 0000Z. We basically take the local time that was entered and minus 9 to populate zulu time.

I hope that this is not too confusing.

How would I go about doing this?
