I created drop-downs that pull a list from a sharepoint. Picking from that drop list the user insert that selection in a repeating table text box.

I do have a separate question regarding Property Promotion to a sharepoint library. If I wanted to promote a repeating table field to a column in a sharepoint library how can I set it up so that the merged field shows up with proper separation in the sharepoint library and it won't look like one big run-on sentence?

Thanks!

Re: Using Multi-Selection List to auto popluate a repeating table

This is not easy, unfortunately. You'll need to use code, qRules, or default data.... I think with the amount of options in the three multiselects, you may be able to get a default data approach working. My concern is that I see at least on Quality, users can enter their own options. Do you have an idea of the max number of options users may select or enter in the three multiselects? I'll try to modify your form to demo the default data approach later today or sometime tomorrow.

Using Multi-Selection List to auto popluate a repeating table

Hi!

I read many post similar to
this, but nothing exact so I wanted to seek some help on my topic. I am
currently working on creating a form which has a several multi-selection boxes
which I'm trying to get bound to a single repeating table. I issue is I can't
figure out how to have them feed into this table.

I need to get
multi-selection boxes in the Quality, Process and General sections of the attached form to
feed into the repeating table below it populating the Characteristic box and
basically building the requirements list.

Does anyone have any advice
on accomplishing this?? Thanks!!
