In SharePoint, the Merge view doesn&#39;t even show up as a choice. If I work on the forms in InfoPath, it tells me it cannot merge the forms because of a&nbsp;&quot;Catastrophic failure.&quot; </p><p>I have choice fields, text fields, rich text fields,&nbsp;repeating fields, check boxes, and dates.&nbsp;Is there something in one of those field types that makes my forms not merge?</p><p>I tried creating a very simple form in a test library, with just a text field, a rich text field, and a check box, and I got the same results:&nbsp;no merge view in SharePoint, and&nbsp;&quot;An error occurred. Catastrophic failure.&quot; in InfoPath.</p><p>Both forms were browser enabled, which I think I need for this instance.&nbsp;</p><p>I&#39;ve looked&nbsp;this up and found many posts where people state this problem, but none where it&#39;s solved. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug? Any help you can offer would&nbsp;be much appreciated. &nbsp;</p>
