You'll have to use code (or you could try qRules) for this. Another option, if you know the max number of rows you may need, would be to use default data.... is this something where you might be able to guess the max number of rows?

Select repeating table by drop down list

I’m new to using InfoPath and I have done a lot a searching but have yet to find what I am looking for. I am using InfoPath 2013 and I am trying to populate a repeating table based on a dropdown list. Depending on the selection of the dropdown a particular xml secondary data connection is used to fill the table. The information I am working with is static and will not be connecting to SharePoint. I have been able to get the table to show up however I am only getting the first row on the information. Below are the details.

I have a drop down list made with manually created choices.

I have multiple xml files as my secondary data source.

My rule for a particular option on the drop down looks like this:

        Condition: Choice = "Secondarysource1"
        Run these actions:
               Action1
                       Field: Column1
                       Value: SecondaryColumn1[.!=Column1]

               Action2
                       Field: Column2
                       Value: SecondaryColumn2[.!=Column2]

               Action2
                       Field: Column2
                       Value: SecondaryColumn2[.!=Column2]

What I end up getting is a table like this:

| Column1 | Column2 | Column3 |
-----------------------------------------
| Data1      |  Data2    | Data3      |
-----------------------------------------

What I should get is:

| Column1 | Column2 | Column3 |
-----------------------------------------
| Data1      |  Data2    | Data3      |
-----------------------------------------
| Data4      |  Data5    | Data6      |
-----------------------------------------
| Data7      |  Data8    | Data9      |
-----------------------------------------
| Data10    |  Data11  | Data12    |
-----------------------------------------
| Data13    |  Data14  | Data15    |
