Your rule will "set a field's value", and the value will be the division or region (this will only affect the current repeating node, the one being inserted) and then use a formula to get the value of the first preceding sibling. http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/greg/archive/2005/06/13/Using-XPath_2700_s-_2700_preceding_2D00_sibling_2700_-Axis-Correctly.aspx

How to store common values in InfoPath SharePoint List Template

Hi All,

I am designing a form in InfoPath 2013 using SharePoint List Template. I have checked the "Manage multiple list items with this form".
Below is the description of the form:
1. Form has a Repeating Section with "Insert Item" enabled
2. Form has unique fields for each list items (e.g. Title & Value) and few are common to all list items(Form specific value, Such as Division & Region)

Question:
Is there any way to get the value from first item and using for second, third and fourth ..etc? otherwise every-time when the insert item is clicked, Division & Region has to entered.
I have attached the Screenshot of my Form and fields here.

Thank you in advance!! :)

Thanks.
