This is an integer that is used to mark what order a list of configurations occurs. The Configurations have 33 steps but do not apply to all the items in the list.

Example: Program A starts at step 1, goes to step 2, but does not require a step 3, so it must move to step 4.

Example: Program B starts at step 1 but does not require step 2, so it must move to step 3.

In my form, I am currently using a button click to assign sortOrder = sortOrder + 1. The obviously will not work for the steps that need to be skipped. Is it possible to just have a sortOrder = GetNext(sortOrder) type of setup? I know GetNext() does not exist but is there something similar in InfoPath forms?
