Did you try the relink documents action?</p>

Re: SharePoint 2010 / InfoPath 2010 - Calculated Fields not updating automatically

Sorry, to be more clear.

:: Document Title ::
Field Name: DocumentTitle
Type: Text (String)
Default Value: &quot;Project Documentation&quot;

:: Informal Name ::
Field Name: InformalName
Type: Text (String)

Formatting Rule: Change DocumentTitle
Condition: InformalName is not blank
Rule Type: Action
Run these actions: Set a field&#39;s value (Field: DocumentTitle, Value: concat(&quot;Project Documentation - &quot;, InformalName)

Inside InfoPath, when the focus is removed from InformalName after changing the value (ie. &quot;Work Site&quot;) the DocumentTitle will change to &quot;Project Documentation - Work Site&quot;. Previously, this rule didn&#39;t exist so existing documents that exist in the SharePoint library where the InfoPath form saves to all say &quot;Project Documentation&quot; without the InformalName. If I go and edit the InformalName on existing documents, they update as per the new InfoPath template.

Is there a way to apply the new template to the old existing documents to automatically update their DocumentTitle to &quot;Project Documentation - [InformalName]&quot; instead of having to go back and edit each document?

Re: SharePoint 2010 / InfoPath 2010 - Calculated Fields not updating automatically

<p>&nbsp;You&#39;ve ruled out a syntax error on the concatenation function? I had a document name in my header which I&#39;ve changed to be a calculated field.

[Header - Project Document]

Which now looks like this:

[Header - DocumentName]

Where DocumentName = &quot;Project Document: &quot; + InformalName

However when I upload the new form, the header still reads just Project Document without adding the InformalName.

How can I fix this?
