Hi Ayana,

Designing your data source and layout can be very time consuming. What you might want to try would be adding the fields o your data source first, then you can copy and paste the text field. On right click you have an option to "Change Binding" and some of the characteristics will be inherited (Text format, font, ect.) but the settings behind (Read-only, multiline ect.) will not be inherited.

You can also adjust the defaults of controls added by going to page design > header and footer > Text settings and adjusting the defaults for when field are added. Please note that if you close the form, these will need to be reset each time you open the form.

Hope that helps!
Bre

Copy text-box with same properties to multiple fields

Hi guys,

so my problem is that I am creating a form where I will have to use basically a text-box with the same properties in multiple fields. As it is very time consuming on going to each cell in a table and adding properties etc. I was wondering how you can just use the "same" text-box into multiple fields? When I just copy the text-box that I have created and try to add it to the next cell it doesn´t create a new field which I need later on (creating a excel database where every column should be its own field). Please help me:)
