Hi - for check out, the rule in my blog post is in the form load rules. It sets the pageUrl query field to the URL for the item and executes the query. On submit, I'm again setting some query fields and executing the query. You can experiment with these data connections by dragging them onto the form and adding a button that queries the data connection, then try setting the query fields manually and clicking the button to see if your file is getting checked in or out. Or, provide me with a little more detail about what you are currently doing and what is going wrong & I'll see if I can help you. :)

Hi all,

Just want to get a more general explanation on how Hilary's CheckIn/Out connection does the trick for auto check in/out of document libraries when Button is pressed. I have pretty much created the same setup and having trouble understanding it further. (Apologies, new to IPD) :D
