Will your users be filling the form out in InfoPath filler? Do they all have InfoPath installed on their machines? I'm guessing "yes" since you mention a different browser form restriction.

If so, I'd guess the server burden would be very low. I would probably publish and submit to a form library. I think that would be simplest. If you truly don't need to save any of the data, then they won't need to submit to the library, I guess I just wouldn't want to have start over if I make a mistake, so I'd think submitting to a library would be nice.

At this time, we do not need to store any of the data received (as in submitting to a database). We are all new to this program and do not have a background in coding/programming.

This far, we have been able to create the checklist forms, but we are having issues publishing to our SharePoint site. I have gathered that we need Owner/Administration access, but we are also concerned about the server burden of having 200+ employees accessing the forms at the same time. ....And we want to have them place images inline on the form, which InfoPath can't do on browser enabled forms.

So....

I am thinking that we do not need to publish to SharePoint, but I am not sure how else to publish the forms. Quite frankly, the whole publishing part confuses me, most likely because we are not using it for it's intended purpose of data collection. Can anyone provide some suggestions?

Thank you,

Christina
