Out-of-box list forms do not support repeating data, however there are many options to accomplish your outlined scenario.

The first is a complex method using an InfoPath Library form, however no additional resources are needed. This method is called CAML, and uses the list Guid to map the repeating data to your SharePoint list.

A second method is easier to use, but is an add on. qRules has a method called SubmitToSharePointList which maps values to related lists on a SharePoint site from an InfoPath Library form. More details can be found here: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules_top.aspx

The third method is new, and uses web parts and SharePoint lists together. This method can be tricky to set up, but here is a webinar that details this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H09KGvd3vZw&list=PL581899A129522F53

Please let me know if you need more help or details on any of the options listed above.

Bre

Bre Huston

I am new to InfoPath, could someone please guide me to fulfil my requirement.

Requirement: EX:

SharePoint list name : Farm owners

List which keeps a record of people owning farms. Every owner may cultivate different types of crops and these details need to be filled in while creating a new item for farm owner. So the list would have columns which record the owner details such as Owner Name, Location, etc along with the columns to store crop details such as cropname, amount spent, etc.

All these details would be stored in a single list item of farm owner. Can we use a repeating table to save the data for the different crops for a single farm owner ?Can a list form customised using InfoPath have fields to store Owner details alongwith a repeating table to save multiple crop details as well ?

Please help me with this.
