A workaround you can proceed with, if you are dealing with a few forms, is a hide and show technique for the repeating table on your InfoPath form. If you are dealing with a lot of forms, then a codeless approach I would suggest is by promoting the month and year as separate columns. This way you could filter your query by month and year, which should only return the filtered values. Does this make sense?

Regards,

Counting number of months in current fiscal year

Hello All,

Thank you in advance for your help. I love this forum it has helped me in so many ways. Normally I am able to find the answer to my Infopath "How to's" . Except for this issue. I have been searching for days and can't seem to come up with an answer.

What I'm trying to do. I have two date pickers (StartDate & EndDate). What I would like to be able to do is have a text box that counts the number of months in the current fiscal year. Fiscal year is July 1st - June 30th. I want it to count the full months of the start & end. I would like this without using code.

Examples:

StartDate = 07/25/2014

EndDate = 10/3/2014

Answer = 4 months

StartDate = 07/15/2014

EndDate = 06/30/2015

Answer = 12 months

Thank you,

Flossie
