I don&#39;t know what you mean by an XSN file being generated by the workflow - the file extension is XSN? Have you checked your workflow? And does the actual XML open when you click it, but the issue is it is opening in filler not in browser? Not to ask a silly question, but the library is set to open XML in browser, right?</p>

SP/IP 2010 .xsn form created in Workflow instead of .xml

I am stumped. I have a Library (must be a library due to repeating tables) - PO Creator.... Sales guys can create a new PO and submit to service for work. The PO# is unique - I am using it for the filename. My issue is that most of the time sales will not want to &quot;release&quot; the PO# to the service people until a later date.
This is what I have tried:

1. Create a new view from PO Creator just for service. If I cant let them see the PO# (filename) they can see it in the URL and when you mouse over the record. Let’s say they aren’t that savvy… If I remove the filename from the view and give them an edit icon, the infopath form is not displayed, but the generic SP document form does.
2. Create a record in a new List where filename is generated (I based on ID) and have the PO# as just another field via workflow. This works BUT I can’t use my repeating table… and I REALLY need it.
3. Create a document in a new Library again generate the filename based on ID via workflow. This works BUT an *.xsn file is generated, NOT an *.xml file so when you click on the filename to open the record, it opens in Filler, not the browser.

If sticking with the document library, I also need to know how to populate a repeating table with data from a different repeating table and not just the first or last record.

I have been reading and trying things for days and feel like I have now come full circle. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.
