I used the same application that I saw on a tutorial about making the same column but from two different lists equal to each other via a filter.

Apologies ahead of time if I seem newbie. I am.
Hopefully I can find a solution to my problem.

What I've done.

I have created three lists in Microsoft's Sharepoint.

"Rooms" list, which contains a list of room numbers under the "Title" column
"Room phone number" list, which contain a list of phone numbers in the "Title column" and I've added a look-up column "room" which list the phone numbers associated with the room.
Lastly, I made a list called "room & phone #" where I've created a list with a "title" column and two look-up columns which refer to my two lists I've just created.

Than, I've edited this list in the "Customize Form" option in the "List" ribbon which brings up InfoPath.

In InfoPath, I've made the data connections necessary (I believe). I have a drop down box of rooms, which show the options of the different rooms I can choose from, after the user has selected a room, I want the "phone number" text box to auto fill with the appropriate phone number in sync with the room.

Problem: I get the text box to auto-fill but unfortunately it always grabs the very first number in the phone numbers column.

Do I need to set some rules or formulas to get this to function correctly.

Hopefully I have conveyed the idea of what I want to get across.

I'd like to autofill a textbox based on what a user has selected from a cascading drop down box.

Thank you for reading and assistance.
