Share information and ask questions here!enCommunityServer 2007 SP3 (Build: 31118.962)https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/88394.aspxTue, 26 Mar 2013 20:47:47 GMT033a2e2d-04e2-4a9d-be01-a4634161eefd:88394Den120https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/88394.aspxhttps://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=142&PostID=88394<p>Hi All,</p><p>Can somebody please&nbsp;help/explain how to use Infopath 2010 &amp; SP 2010 server with &nbsp;UserProfileService webservice, specifically&nbsp;&quot;ModifyUserPropertyByAccountName&quot;&nbsp;&nbsp;to update user profile properties.</p><p>I do have permissions to perform the operation in CA, under my login name.</p><p>The AccountName I use with the service is an existing account on the server.</p><p>The PropertyData node seems exactly as what the web service expects.</p><p>I tried a simple example with changing only the SPS-HireDate, but no success.&nbsp;</p><p>No errors are shown. </p><p>The service&nbsp; call seems to proceed and executes following rules without problem, even the refresh of the UseProfileByName service for the same accountname.</p><p>Any insight would be appreaciated.</p><p>P.S: Similar searches on the web offer purely programmatic solutions or facilitating jQuery. It seems to me, that it should be possible with Infopath rules only.</p>
