The repeating table is blank. I enter a value in the text box press the button then use the following rules.

Query Data
then i assign values to the fields in the repeating table with filters using the value of the text box.

Is there a different way i should be filtering the list in the repeating table, so it matches a value in the text box?

Re: Infopath 2010 + repeating table - sharepoint list

Probably it's because the secondary data source didn't return more than one when you configured it. Look at the data source and select the secondary data source from the dropdown. If the control is not repeating, that's an indication that the "schema inference" failed to think it was repeating the first time you connected to it. This could be because you entered a value in the data connection wizard that only returned one row. To fix, just go to the data connections dialog and modify the data connection and make sure that you don't enter a filter.

Another issue could be that you are trying to copy repeating items into the table. To do this requires having blank default values in the main data source, or using qRules insert command. We have documentation on this and have done webinars showing both techniques.

Please let us know which issue it is.

Thanks!

Infopath 2010 + repeating table - sharepoint list

i have a form that has a textbox, a button, and then 3 columns inside a repeating table.

I have secondary data connection that retrieves data from a sharepoint list. I enter a value into the text box, and when the button is clicked i use the rule query data. I then inside the repeating table with filters that pulls data that equals the textbox. So a search box.

The problem is only one row is returned, even though i have tried searches that i know should return multiple rows.

How do i get all the rows to be returned.
