I have a Sharepoint 2010 Library which contains product recalls for our branches to reply to. I also have a seperate Sharepoint 2010 Lists which will store the replies from the branches for each product recall in the aforementioned library. What I'd like to do is limit the drop down list on the Sharepoint List form to contain product recalls whcih the branch has not responded to yet. Is this possible, and how would I do it. I would prefer to staf from a code behind solution, and as a happy medium can accept javascript client side code using jquery/SPServices.

Sharepoint 2010 Library: Product Recalls
RecallID
Product Description
RecallDescription
NSL
CostValue

Sharepoint 2010 List: Product Recall Replies
RecallID
BranchID
Qty
CompletedBy

The list is linked to the library via a lookup on RecallID.
