While editing the item in the share point list I make the text box as read only so that no one can change the value in it. based on that value drop down value should be validate.

For Example

My text box value is X or Y or Z and Its read only

In drop Down tow value is there Yes and No.

If text box contenting X value your can Submit form with Yes as a drop down value other he/she should not be able to submit the form same for Y and Z. If Y or Z is the text box value then user can only submit the form with no option in drop down.

I know the option of VSTA coding. but i don't have any idea about writing the code in VSTA . Is there any simplest way to achieve this functionality ?

Thanks in advance.
