Jimmy,

I have used round in default value. Default value -> Insert formula -> Insert Function -> round(). When i select field txtNum, i get function "round(.)".

What do you mean when you say the round() function is used on the field? In a rule? in a default value? If it's a rule, how is it set up?

Round() funcion is used on problematical field, and nothing happens. I should mention that the code behind, which is generating this numbers also eleiminate "." and all after it.

Any other ideas?

Both the round() and floor() functions should work for removing the decimal portion. How are you trying to use them?

I can't set up column type as text, because there are a lot of code behind involved on that Sharepoint document library, and i think i will cause bigger problem with that solution.
Niether the round and floor functions can't fix the problem.
I can't format the number of decimal places, because i don't know how many numbers will be used.

Thank you for large amount of effort. Any other ideas?

Hi Jo-Anne,

The field is using integer format, and the column in library is default type ( Number (1, 1.0, 100), with 0 decimal places ).

Is there any chances that you've modified the field to use a decimal format? Or perhaps the column in the SharePoint library is a decimal type?

Hi,

I have big issue with integer numbers which are stored in one Share Point 2010 document library's column. On opening Infopath form that uses the number from listed column, number is changed and form becomes unusable. Example: number value in column is 2553, and when is opened becomes 2553.00000. Now is impossible to make any changes on Infopath form, because number is written in wrong format.

Does enyone have clue what could be the problem?
