I'm having the same problem as this fellow Infopather was. Is anyone able to give me an answer on how to remove the old certificate from a computer that can't open the form with the new certificate?

Alternatively, instructions on how to create a proper certificate to last a year or more.

thanks,

Infopath certificate experation issue

Hello,

I had developed a form for my company, it is published on network shared drive for other people to use. Before I published the form, I changed the security leve to full trust and sigend the form templete.

It gave me expiration date after 30 days. I renewed the certificate and updated the form, my issue is it works on my computer and other few computer where we never opened the published form. And it gives

error msg "The form cannot be opened because it was signed with an expired or revoked certificate. / The form contiains expired or currupted cerfiticate" on the computers where we previously used to open this form.

My only guess is, we cannot open this form on the computers we previously used because of the computer still has previous expired certificate and it contacts that certificate first when anyone tries to open the form.

My question is, can we clear the certificate history on the computers we previously used this form, so it recognize the updated version of the form???

Or looking at my issue, if you have better solution for me? Is there anyother way to get certificate which as long expiration date?

Thank you in advance,

:)
