Data adapter failed during OnLoad: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable. (infopath+udcx)

ERROR: Data adapter failed during OnLoad: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable.

I have had the this InfoPath form "working just fine" displaying different drop down values coming from SQL DB via web service call (with UDCX file having the connection details etc..)

But after the recent windows update (on this windows server 2008) this form and all other InfoPath forms on the server have started giving error as below in the pop up window:

And then after clicking OK on the pop window the form loads but all the drop downs are empty.

Basically the name of the UDX that I use is " GetConfigValues" which is then try to get the data via web service in InfoPath form to populate the InfoPath form's drop down. It works perfectly on client side (as standalone) but once opened in its web form (using info part form service) we get an error as above.

Now on investigating further in the SharePoint Log I found the below entries:

On researching on the net I found few workarounds/solutions listed and I have already tried them as listed below BUT STILL NO LUCK:

A. Disable the authentication loopback check.
B. Enable the Web Service Proxy setting for InfoPath Service in Central Admin
C. “UseFormsServiceProxy” attribute is set to True in the UDCX file
D. Gave "everyone" the permission to web service's file system folder??

Note: I could not see any thing related to this inside IIS log file!! I have even tried un-installing the OFFICE related Windows Updates that were installed "recently", but still no luck.

Are there any other log file or places where I should look for to get some additional details about the issue? What could be few things to try for to narrow down this issue?

I would really appreciate if some one can shed some additional light here to help getting this issue resolved.
