I believe the toolbar support went away with the addition o the ribbon UI. You can conigure the ribbon UI but I believe code is required to interface to InfoPath.

Here's another idea: add buttons to your repeater that do the remove/insert commands using qRules. qRules allows you to remove or insert a row in a repeating section without having to write code. I believe we even have a document on the technique - check out the qRules product page on Qdabra's site. Free download and it's super cheap if you decide to use it. Just one license for all of your forms.

Take care,

Repeating Section commands in toolbar - where they are?

Hi everyone,

I have some templates prepared in InfoPath 2007, where I have used customised commands to add, remove insert before and insert after section. I used a form toolbar to show them in convenient way to the users. Now some users are using InfoPath 2010 and this toolbar with commands has gone.

After some investigation I found that in InfoPath 2010 there is no way to configure custom toolbars like in 2007. There is only option to configure commands in context menu after right click.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there any other method to have this toolbar available without code?

Krzysztof Deneka
