I thought the external item picker maybe a great way to do that. However I have not been able to find much helpful information on how to use it. Any other ideas on how to make a drop down list searchable in Infopath? I have tried a cascading dropdown solution to filter through the list. However my manager is very adamant about making the list searchable like the people picker or at lease close to it.
