Important: I need a solution in Infopath xpath and no VB/C# solution since code is blocked by the server.

My table looks like this where only the first three columns are filled out manually and the fourth one (i.e. "CopiedDate") is calculated:

CurrentRecord ; PlannedCompletionDate ; CopyDateFromThisRecord ; CopiedDate

1 ; 12/08/2013 ; ;

2 ; 11/12/2013 ; 1 ; 12/08/2013

3 ; 12/30/2013 ; 1 ; 12/08/2013

4 ; 01/11/2014 ; ;

5 ; 12/13/2014 ; 3 ; 12/30/2013

The idea is to fill the "CopiedDate" of each record with the "PlannedCompletionDate" from the record specified in "CopyDateFromThisRecord": For example the "CopiedDate" in record 3 would be populated with the "PlannedCompletionDate" from record 2.

I tried this by setting the Default Value of the "CopiedDate" field to: ../preceding-sibling::my:group2[../my:CurrentRecord = ../my:CopyDateFromThisRecord]/my:PlannedCompletionDate

Unfortunately all CopiedDate fields are empty. I also played around with "current()" but without any meanfulgful results

Any idea what I am doing wrong with the filtering?
