Been trying to figure this out for a few days now to no avail...

I have an existing Access 2003 database that I'm trying to create an InfoPath 2003 front end for (more of a data entry form). I created the form form the "New From Data Connection" but noticed when going through the Wizard that Submit is disabled because the database contains Long Data Types (Text, etc).

Did some googling, came across a tutorial on the MS site that links the Northwind example DB to InfoPath, followed it step by step (several times) with the same 'Submit' error -- although, according to the tutorial there shouldn't be any problems. Now the Northwind DB is full of Long Data Types.

So I guess my question is... Text and Memo fields are not by any means obscure when coming across Access databases - is there even an alternative for these field types? Is there anyway around the lack of Long Data Type support, maybe with some custom code?

I should also note that I have no problem retrieving data from the db...

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

THanks,
Chris
