As to your third question, you may be able to use Convert Main Data Source to change from Access to SQL -- this article on Office Online addresses moving from one Access DB to another, but should still work for converting to SQL.

As to your second question -- InfoPath templates save the data as XML, so I'm sure you can write a web page to display it. But I don't know that you'd be able to reuse much of what you created with your InfoPath project.

I don't really understand the first question, I'm afraid, but I hope this helps!

Web Service + MS Access + Infopath (2003) + SQL

Howdy,

For those person who has an advance knowledge of Infopatch and Web base application, could you please advise me with this kind of problem.

I done with my payroll timesheet project. The Infopath project is working well by opening the Infopath which the data will automatically flow to an Access DB after the end user submit the information. Now I want to do a more matured programming which in able to render the infopath in IE or Firefox instead of opening the MS infopath application.

I have 3 questions:

First. Is the program I made (infopath with MS access binding) can be transfer to web services without recreating the project?

Second. Is there any kind of method in rendering the infopath using IE or firefox aside from Webservices and sharepoint?

Third. If i want to shift from Access to SQL, is there anyway in infopath that i can migrate without recreating the link or schema ( or is there any simplier method to do the migration)?

I'm not sure if my question is valid. I hope you understand.

Many thanks.

vier
