I have updated the spreadsheet to handle this, and work a little better.

Now, to use the spreadsheet, copy the ENTIRE contents of the template.xml file into the second sheet (Sheet2) of this excel sheet. All other instructions remain the same.

With this update, the sheet seems to work pretty well in most scenarios, but again, just confirm the formatting of the output text for any odd data situations.

Rename the file from .txt to .xls

Instructions:

1. From the template.xml file, copy the section inside <my:myFields and paste into the first column in the converter sheet.

2. In the second column of the converter sheet, enter in the header names for each field from the excel file.

3. In the third column, enter in the datatype if it is not a text field.

4. This will format the data into the last column that you can copy and paste into the <MappingInfo> section of the config file.

I have only tested this with text, integer and datetime fields. I am not sure if it will work with the custom fields. Hopefully this is useful for some of you out there.

I had to rename file to .txt so change the extension back to .xls to use it.

Cheers!
