It gives me exactly what I want and still gives me the clean look of the option button except with the square check box. I will post later on how I did it.

Re: Option Button Possibilities

I haven't seen this done with Option buttons, but if you could switch to a dropdown, it would be fairly easy (and codeless) to achieve.

Option Button Possibilities

I am not sure that what I want to do can be done, but you are the guys who would know.

I am reworking a form so that any variable that can possibly change in the future (list choices and such) are actually gathered from a data connection so the form does not have to be continually updated. One of my choices on the form is an option button with several choices. I prefer the way this looks so I don't want to use a dropdown list or list box.

I would love to be able to have the option button set automatically to the items retrieved from a data connection. In other words if my query returns 4 items I would want the field to have 4 options buttons on the canvas and would want each option button property 'value when selected' to equal one of the items returned from the query.

So if my query returned the values: Red, Blue, Orange and Gray, I would want the option buttons to reflect Red, Blue, Orange and Gray titles (I think I could do this with an expression field) and when Red was selected I would want the value to equal Red and so on.

Am I losing my mind or is this possible to do?
