You can see in the bottom debug section 8 fields. These fields will capture the data from the two drop down lists in the main portion of the form. In the first two I have set the default value as indicated and when I select the items in the drop down those field do not change to reflect the correct value.

Thanks to Hilary for the wonderful work with the bullet-ted list.

Re: Copy Repeating Table data to NON repeating fields

Yes, you are correct in setting the default value on the non repeating field.

How is it not working? I have been reviewing all the posts about copying repeating table data to repeating sections and repeating tables and have tried following some of the solutions but am stymied. My Form has a repeating table with a drop down list. In that list are 4 items. So there could be up to 4 table rows.

What I need to do is get the value from the drop down list in each row that is inserted and populate it into a static non-repeating field. I have 4 field, one for each possible instance of the repeating table row. Here is where I get confused. I don't know if I need to use a rule or a set the value of each of the non-repeating fields to match the value of an instance of the table row.

And if I set the value of the non-repeating fields would I use tablesrc and rowsrc?

HELP!
