I'll try it out, but it will be at least a week before I can spend the time.

Insert with Northwind SharePoint lists

Hi,

using qRules 4.2. I have a data structure similar to the Northwind sample in Hilary's walkthrough of 4.2 new features here: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/hilary/archive/2012/05/30/qrules-submittosharepointlist-walkthrough-for-v4-2.aspx . My data is in SharePoint lists, not in XML files. I basically have a two-tier hierarchy, i.e. Orders and Order details.

In my form, I have a top section where I would like to select a parameter, then I'd like the repeating nested groups for Orders and OrderDetails to fill with the respective data. For example: My Orders list has a Status field. I would like to select a status and have the form populate with all the Orders of that status and every order should list all its respective order details records. I set a query field and

I have used the CopyTable command in a simpler scenario, and I understand that I need to use the Insert command since I have nested groups. I just cannot work out how to build the Insert command, since the data is in separate SharePoint lists, not in a nested XML construct.

Can someone walk me through it, please?

cheers, Ingeborg
