You can use the qRules CopyTable or Insert command for this - the important part is that you'll need to be sure to copy in the list item ID from the secondary data source into your main data source and be sure to map the ID field - qRules uses this ID to know whether to add a new item or update an existing item.

Re: Update Multiple SharePoint List Items Using a Repeating Table

Hi-

Thanks for trying out qRules. You can use the SubmitToSharePointList command to map repeating data to a SharePoint list.

Hilary has a nice set of blog posts which cover the SubmitToSharePointList command. Here's a link to one of them (there are others though):

http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/hilary/archive/2012/06/27/qrules-submittosharepointlist-walkthrough-for-v4-2-working-with-existing-data-amp-submitting-a-single-mapping.aspx

Hopefully this series of blog posts helps to explain the scenario. If you run into issues or errors, let us know. What I am trying to figure out though is if it possible to use qRules to update the items in a repeating table using a SharePoint list as a secondary data source? I've gone through different posts (http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/qrules/entry58577.aspx and http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/17693/61874.aspx#61874) similar to this request but have not been able to get any of them to work.
