Is it possible to combine the saving of the form to the Document Library, and the execution of the SubmitToSharePointList command?

After publishing my form as an Admin Form Template, and configuring the content type on a Document Library, the button I have configured to run the SubmitToSharePointList command functions differently. Before publishing the form, if I click the button, all of the list items are created. After publishing when I click the button nothing happens until I click save on the ribbon bar at the top of the form. Is there a way to configure the form to submit the form to the document library, and run the SubmitToSharePointList command?

Thanks,
