I see what is wrong with your first post now - you had myfields instead of myFields. XPath is case sensitive.

You are using:

Insert /parent=/my:myFields/my:grpReplacement/my:grpReplacementIssue/my:Replacement /child=my:Replacement

Try this instead:

Insert /parent=/my:myFields/my:grpReplacement/my:grpReplacementIssue /child=my:Replacement

Sure. Forgot to mention that I am trying to do this with a button. You may have figured this out though.

Failed to select the source node. I copied the xpath and reset it and am still getting the same error.

That looks right - what error are you getting in the Qdabra Rules Error node? Did you copy the XPath from the data source task pane to make sure everything is spelled correctly?

I am trying to setup a simple 'insert' to insert a single row into a repeating table. I think I have the formula correct but it is not working so I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I have created the new action rule- 'Set a Field's value'. Then if I am doing this right, I choose the Qdabra data source and select the field 'command'.

Then I set it with the value. In this case: Insert /parent=/my:myfields/my:grpReplacement/my:grpReplacementIssue /child=my:Replacement
