With the SubmitToSharePointList, it shows the actual user if the form in completed from InfoPath preview. However, once the form is completed in a browser, it shows created by/modified by as the system account.

Not sure if I'm missing something else.

Re: qRules AttachToSharePoint

Hi -

I'd use SubmitToSharePointList - that way you can create (or update) a list item and add the file as an attachment. This document, while kind of long, has information on including attachments with your list item.

If you are saving your docs to a library using SaveToSharePoint - this can be done (also with SubmitToSharePoint) but it is a little more complex, and the approach I'd recommend would depend on the version of SharePoint you are working with.

I have a few questions about the AttachToSharePoint functionality.

Is it possible to set the "Created By" or "Modified By" fields to the actual user who filled out the InfoPath form with the attachment? I'm wanting to use this in a workflow. Also, can I promote additional information alongside the attached file? For example, I'd love to add a corresponding entry of a unique ID # for each attachment. This will be promoted from the InfoPath form.

Thanks guys!
