If users with read only permissions on the list use the URL with the filter added in the browser, will it open for them?

we changed the dataconnections to include noredirect=true it works fine for users with full control permission on the list you are trying to read data from.

it does not work for users with only view permission on the list . this happens from bowser enabled infopath with qrules trying to dynamically filter the list.

but if tried to access the list directly using owssvr.dll through browser it works for everybody. Hope this explains the scenario

we did that and it works fine for users with full control permission on the list you are trying to read from Inside the form and directly pasting the url to the browser

for others it works fine on the browser but not from within the form using qrules

If you are using SharePoint 2010, the url you use for owssvr.dll will need to include "noredirect=true" on the url -- could it be that?

Hi,

After migration to a sharepoint 2010 env .Infopath forms that used qrules command Filterowssvr is not working for certain users within the form.

Any thoughts?
