Hi-

First, you'll need to add the score options to the dropdowns, so that the users can select the desired score.

Then you can simply use a formula like this:

/my:myFields/my:HideShowSection_7/my:field146 + /my:myFields/my:HideShowSection_4/my:field147 + /my:myFields/my:HideShowSection_5/my:field148 etc

to get the total score.

I'm not sure what you use in your business to calculate the percentage. If 10 is the highest score, then simply divide the total sum by 10 * number of questions.

Good Morning Ernesto

In each of the section that you helped me create I have in column 2 (score) depending on how well each areas does on their inspection I would give them a score 10,5,or 0

Each section is scored separately. When I select a score I need the form to auto sum up all the sections and come up with a %rating.

How do I get the form to automatically sum up the sections and then give me a % rating?

Thank you that was an easy fix.

Im reading over the suggestions you made about the auto calculating the score in the second colum of the form but im still not getting it. you most hate newbies. Im sorry to be such a pain. learning a new program without training takes a little longer.

It looks like a lot of your sections have a fixed height in PX instead of using Auto.

I have another question

why is the spaces between the section so different when the sections are collasped. they are not even.

also in the score column I mentioned that i need to tally up the score from each section and place the total on the last page how can I get the form to auto sum that for me and put it in the correct spot at the end of the form?

The rules are never firing because the conditions are incorrect.

Notice this screenshot: the rule is setting the value of the attribute to the same value of the condition. So, the rule will never meet its own condition.

The condition needs to be opposite of the rule.

It shows that Im clicking it but nothing, absolutely nothing happens.

Should the conditional formating be set to 1 or 0 or True/false???

The rule should look like this. Notice how the field to be set is bound to an attribute on the form.

The second issue I see is that the is_Visible field that's getting set appears to be incorrect in the rule.

Hi,

There are a few issues.

Here's the first one: you seem to be setting the field to both 1 and 0 in consecutive steps.

Clicking should only set the is_Visible to either 1 or 0. But having these two actions is not going to work.
