I notice that file attachments can't be opened in a view marked as readonly in InfoPath 2007.

Seems like they should be.  Any workaround besides individually marking all of the other controls in the view readonly instead of marking the whole view?

 So how would you make a checkbox control read-only, when not using the view's read-only state?

I didn't find anything in the properties of the checkbox to make it read-only.

So the only possibility I see is to add conditional formatting and disable it. But there is no possibility to set the condition to check for a specified view....

Any ideas?

Hi,

One thing you can do here is set the view name into a field or secondary field every time when the view is witched. Add the conditional formatting using this field.
