Dropdown - but allowed to put your own value

    Hi All,

My users want to utilize the existing values in a list as a "starting point" for a dropdown/combo list.

i.e. at the moment there is only one item in the list and the value of col1 is fred

When they next create a form they want to have "fred" in the "dropdown" list so they could select it  - or they could put George in.

Then the next time they create a form fred and George would be in the list as options to choose from.

Is that achievable - what control should I use.

    Thank you

    Catharine.

Duh!  Long day.... It's the combo box - and I thought it wasn't working cos it wasn't getting written to SharePoint - all the time it was my mapping !
