disallow view switch via View menu

    Hi,

I've designed an Infopath form with multiple views and was surprised to see that a user can freely change the current view just by clicking on a view title in Infopath's View menu.
Which is bad news because each step of my workflow has its own separate view and you aren't supposed to be able to go forward or backwards in the worflow or to take another user's role...

Is it normal ? I couldn't find anything about that in the form options so how can I disallow it ?

    Thanks in advance

Double click on the view which you want to hide, View properties box is displayed.
In View properties box under general tab uncheck the “show on view menu when filling out the form”.

Doing this will not show the link in the 'View Menu'.

    Hi,

To disable the listing out the views in the view menu follow the given below steps.

    The steps are:
    1. Goto the views tab select a view and double click it(to see the view properties).
    2. Uncheck the "Show on view when filling out the form" check box in the view properties window.

I hope, it will solve your problems.

Thanks a lot, it worked :)

It's a pity the box isn't unchecked by default.
