InfoPath Dev

I feel like this is a pretty simple issue, but I can't figure what I am doing wrong.  I have a SharePoint list form I built in Infopath.  It has only 3 fields, name (text field), date (choice) and steps (number).  I am trying to filter the date field to hide the dates where steps have already been entered.  So my list has Jul 10, Jul 11, and Jul 12.  I entered my steps for Jul 10, the next time I go in to enter my steps, I only want Jul 11 and Jul 12 to be available in the date (choice) field.

I am assuming that you are working with repeating data since this is a SharePoint List form, so the formatting condition would be something like steps is not blank, and then tick the hide check box. I'm not sure how your form is set up though so you may probably need a different hide logic for you form. If the condition I provided you with doesn't work out, would it be possible for you to attach a sample of your form so I may have a better idea of what isn't working for you?

Hi Don,

Using the logic you provided it hide the entire date line, and I would like it to hide specific dates within the date line. This form is used to log steps the user has taken daily.  I have attached a screen shot of the form and the infopath form.  I don't know if you will be able to open the infopath without the SharePoint list, but I thought I would send it anyways.  Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.  The purpose of filtering out the date is eliminate the risk of entering duplicates.  If you can not find a solution to filter the date fields I am open to other suggestions on how to prevent duplicate entries based on the date field.
