Collecting Data using Infopath Forms Access 2007 Feature - Why this poor Style Generation?

     Hello All,

I'm trying to modify the resulting forms generated in Infopath 2007 when I use the Collecting Data from Access 2007. The generated email contains a form linked to the database, but its style is too poor, and I think is difficult to modify.

Somebody knows hot to accomplish this? I wouls like to modify this ugly generated form in order to transform in a beautiful form fit for a princess.

         Thanks in advance.

    Hi Ed,

You should be able to redesign the form's layout in InfoPath Designer to make it look beautiful. The data is separate, so the view modifications won't affect the underlying database connections.

I recommend just replacing the whole view. Put your cursor in it, press ctrl-a to select all and hit the delete key. Then, start adding layout tables and dragging and dropping fields into them from the data source.

This will take a few hours, but you'll have a much better looking form.

    Cheers,

    Patrick
