Only one user gets 'Form cannot be opened in a web browser'

    error:

'This form cannot be opened in a web browser. To open this form  use Microsoft InfoPath Correlation ID:f83d7961-d0ff-468a-a0ca-581eae35bb33'

We have Enterprise version of SP 2010. Form is published to a forms library where the default open behavior setting is server default (open in application.) Several other users including myself can open the form with no problem. I've tried changing the setting to open form in the browser and this did not fix the problem. I also tried setting it to open in the application.

    Problem User profile:

    • IE 32 bit and 64 bit give same error
    • Full control on forms library
    • Clicking the 'Add Item' link gives this error
    • Office Standard
    • User does not have InfoPath Designer or filler on machine

I'm having the user try to reinstall Office first to see if this fixes the problem. Any ideas? Could this be a browser setting?

     Good day scop28,

Just to isolate the issue has the user tried opening the published form on a different browser? (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
